Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tsp caraway seeds (optional)
- 1 Head of cabbage
Directions
- Mix whatever multiple of sugar, water, vinegar, salt, and seeds will be needed to cover the cabbage.
- Bring to a boil to dissolve salt and sugar.
- Immerse cabbage in brine and refrigerate for 3 to 7 days
