Easy Cornbread

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 cup flour
  • 4 tbsp sugar
  • 4 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • ¼ cup oil

Directions

  1. Mix dry ingredients
  2. Add wet ingredients
  3. Beat until smooth
  4. Pour batter into a greased 8″ square pan
  5. Bake at 425° for 20-23 minutes
